Made this shirt out of an unwanted shirt from my husband. This is one thing great about being a LOT smaller than my husband, I can make something even out of striped shirts!
It is made with the same pattern I made for the white for maui dress:
The shirt was actually from Walmart years ago, and I was really surprised on how sturdy the cotton was. For 6.95, I think we had made quite a lot of use out of this shirt!
Despite its limitations, upcycling an unwanted item is pretty fun 🙂 I barely had enough usable fabric to cut out the pieces with the correct stripe directions, but it all worked out in the end!
