Short Pintuck Skirt

I made this cute little skirt, it took forever because the family took turns being sick with a cold the past few weeks (with a mutation of the virus which passed back to patient 0). So I was mostly in bed knitting to keep hubby company or sleeping the cold off.

But its finally done! I didn’t use any patterns – its just a simple rectangle gathered with cute little pockets on the side. The shell is this wonderfully soft cotton or rayon twill, which I had less than half a yard of. It is lined with silk that is left over from another project. After I was done with the skirt, I added pin-tucks to match the shell length to the lining length, inspired by a skirt on Madewell. Tada! I love it!

Little K here was copying my previous poses of hands in pocket! adorable πŸ™‚
